I’m quite excited about this show because

1) I’m not paid cos it’s for charity - it’s great to perform for charity

2) I’m playing and singing my own songs from the upcoming EP album (and La Vie En Rose!)

3) I’m pairing up with mad boy Tien-yao

I wrote this song in Dec last year, but only managed to finish
it yesterday. It’s a simple 2-min song which I do not intend to prolong just because it seems short.

The original lyrics is “I wanna write you a love song..”, but I
am moved by the fact that there are many people who are willing to sing
for (or with) their spouses on their wedding day, so I changed the
lyrics to “I wanna sing you a love song” to make it more relevant to

Most Popular Misunderstandings:

1. “You’re doing full-time music? (silence)….. Can survive meh…?”

2. “You’re always online –> very good life leh!”

3.  “Where are you going now? Going to ‘cheong’ right?”

4.  “There must be a lot of admirers out there”

5.  “Give me some discounts lah, my guests include some couples
getting married soon - you’ll get more business from my wedding!”

The truth:

1. “Yes I can. And erm, you are quite rude.”

2. “Yes, but I’m always working in front of my PC. That’s working from home right?.”

3.  “I stepped into St. James only in Nov 07, nearly 1 year after it opened. If I work most evenings, how do I ‘cheong’?”

4.  “….Definitely not that I know of”

5.  “Maybe yes, but really, sigh. I hope more people understand that
we also paid thousands of bucks to attain this professional level. And
we didn’t get discount off our school fees.”

Ok, so here’s how it will be. Everything is so delayed now I don’t
see the point of releasing it so close to the Christmas season when we
have all the superstars vying for window display and retail spaces and
radio airplay etc, and of course the annual shower of Christmas songs.
Therefore in all senses, I should postpone the release to next year
Jan, but most probably February after Chinese New Year.

I’m really touched when friends come and tell me they couldn’t find
my album in retail stores - sorry for wasting your time, I didn’t know
you were out searching even before I inform you for good! Thank you
very much, your action really speaks a thousand words. I will
definitely inform everyone when it’s to be released into stores etc. I
can’t thank you enough for your support.

Looks like this will be a 2008 album.
