Lonely Afternoon

Here is it. Thanks to Edgar for doing up such an adorable mini mock-up
of the CD booklet. The CDs will be delivered later today. Wow. Just in
time for Xmas ha!

I am elated. Didn’t imagine it would happen but it did.

Joachim, a regular customer since 368 days knows I can sing in French, and hence brought his French colleague who flew in to Singapore for a few days to One Rochester. They came another time after that because the lady was happy she could hear some familiar home tunes abroad.

Last Wed, Joachim brought his French boss (gasp) and another French colleague to Rochester again, and voila, they were happy with the French songs I delivered. What made me really over the moon was when the French boss commented "I understood everything you sang har".

Yes, the French also loves to say "har", albeit with a more nasal and a ‘don’t doubt me‘ tone. That’s why I say the Chinese and the French don’t only share the love for exotic food; there are indeed many other similarities.

She even promised to bring me her stack of French scores (apparently she’s a pianist) the next time she comes back. Am looking forward to it!
